Dr Micaela Quinn is an early career bone and cancer researcher and received her PhD from Adelaide University in 2025. Her research focuses on understanding the impacts of cancer and its treatment on bone metabolism and the cells residing within the bone microenvironment. Another aspect of her research is exploring the role of the gut microbiome in the skeletal outcomes of patients with cancer and the bone protective potential of gut-modulating therapies.
