Matthew is a dual trained endocrinologist and geriatrician with interests in osteoporosis, diabetes, as well as metabolic health and its interactions with frailty. Matthew attained his undergraduate medical degree from the University of Western Australia and completed advanced training in both specialities at various teaching hospitals in WA. He currently works as a geriatrician at Sir Charles Gairdner and Royal Perth Hospitals with a focus on osteoporosis and secondary fracture prevention in older people. Additionally, he works as a private endocrinologist at Living Diabetes and Endocrinology focusing on comprehensive care in diabetes and cardiometabolic disease.
