Dr Hanh Nguyen is an Endocrinology staff specialist at Western Health and Monash Health, with academic appointments at Monash University and The University of Melbourne. Her clinical and research expertise are in optimising the management of osteoporosis, metabolic bone disorders, and diabetes-related foot disease, with an interest in the use of digital health to address health system challenges. She completed her PhD in the Bone and Muscle Research Group, focusing on atypical femur fractures associated with anti-resorptive therapy, and established the NHMRC-funded international TrAFFiC Study investigating the clinical, genetic and bone material risk factors for this condition. Hanh is passionate about mentoring trainees and doctoral students and is the Co-Director of Endocrine Research at Western Health.
