Dr. Agnes Arthur

Scientific Program Committee

Agnes completed her PhD at the University of Adelaide, with a dual focus on molecular signalling and the neural potential of dental pulp stem cells (DPSC). Agnes was involved in developing patented techniques to investigate the neuroplasticity of DPSC and their therapeutic potential. As a postdoctoral researcher Agnes’ research is interested in understanding the molecular and cellular signalling within the bone microenvironment and how this influences skeletal development, disease – particularly osteoporosis, and skeletal repair following fracture. With a current focus on understanding bone-nerve interaction in these contexts.
